Waiting List at Desire Pearl

Hello,

My husband and I are visiting Desire Pearl in Nov. This is our first time. He has been stressed out with work so as a surprise, I booked an extended weekend at the Pearl. I was able to get Thursday-Saturday, but they put me on the waiting list for Saturday night. I am hoping things will work out for that night. Has anyone ever been put on the waiting list and were able to get a room from it?

I have never been to Cancun, but I am assuming there are plenty of resorts there that we should be able to get a room for one night. I don't need to worry about reserving a room in advance, do you think?? Has anyone had luck with the waiting list?

Hmmm, that's interesting that it would be totally sold out! Is there a takeover that week? If so, you might need to contact the travel agency who has booked the takeover. Otherwise, did you check availability at Desire RM? Good luck!

I called the phone number of the Desire Pearl - official site and that is what they told me. I even looked online and that night is unavailable online. I guess there will be a BIG party without us. LOL

I will check at the Desire RM and see if they have a room for that evening. Thanks!

Well, above all else, I hope you have a great time and I have to say you're a great partner for surprising your husband at Desire! It's truly an amazing place and I bet you both will love it so much that it will become a yearly destination. We're on trip #20 coming up in March and we can't wait.....always a fantastic vacation! If you do have to book Sat night at RM, you can always check out of Pearl, leave your luggage at the front desk and continue partying there until you are ready to leave for RM.

Anyway, enjoy your trip and please post a trip report, I'll be anxious to hear your thoughts.
