Other than the hot tub, would the ocean or pool be warm enough for swimming during our early December visit?

Ocean temps should be somewhere in the 78-82 degree range (26 - 28 degrees c) at that time of the year. Not sure about pool temps; we've been to Desire RM in November and on a hot day the pool is 'refreshing'.
