The beach at pearl

Postby A&B » Thu Oct 31, 2013 2:44 pm

We are a married couple. Him 35 her 28. We are planning a week or so for Valentines day. Only we do not know where to book so we figured we would ask here. So here's a little about us and what we are looking for. We are not in the lifestyle but we are definitely sexually adventurous! We stayed on the nude side of Breezes rio bueno ( formerly grand lido Braco) a few years ago. We absolutely loved it! She'd our clothes the minute we got to our room and we were very comfortable. That place has since been closed so we are looking else where. Like I said we are not lifestylers although we did get pretty rowdy with another couple one night at Braco. It was mainly girl/girl, late night in the hot tub. A first for both women. Him and I sat and watched in amazement!:) that was our first and only toe dipping. The nude beach at Braco was completely nude meaning if you were there you were nude, which we liked.

We are huge day time beach lovers but we have some concerns with pearl. First off we understand the beach is public and that has us concerned. Is pearl an isolated resort or is there other resorts that cause a lot of foot traffic. We don't like the idea of having people walking by us in clothes looking at us for a cheap thrill. So our question is, what is the foot traffic on the beach like? Also we love the idea of the beach beds but if our research is correct, pearl does not have them? Does rm have them? And had anyone done hidden beach resort?

We had multiple sex sessions in our room at Braco and wanted so bad to leave the shades open for anyone walking by to see but we felt that type of behavior at Braco would have been frowned upon. It looks like the desire resorts encourage that so that is why we are leaning toward them. But like I said we are huge day time NUDE beach goers and want the best if we are spending this type of cash! So our final question, Pearl, Riviera Maya or Hidden Beach? Please help. Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all!

First, yes there is beach traffic by both Pearl and the Riviera Maya locations - how much depends really on when you are going to be there. Desire security does not allow beach walkers to stop and gawk or approach the loungers on the beach.

Pearl does have a few beach beds but they are reserved for those that book the Penthouse suites.

HBR is just like a typical AANR nudist facility - overt touching, PDA/PDS(even between married couples) is not permitted in public areas same a the nude area of Breezes rio bueno.

If you are into a little PDS/PDS, voyeurism, exhibitionism then Desire is the right choice..

We had many great vacations at Grand Lido Braco/Breezes Rio Bueno over the years, particularly between the period from 2003 - 2007 before it started declining. The A/N setup there was second to none, with the isolated (but man made) beach, huge pool, hottub, rooms directly on the beach, etc. There are no places I am aware of that are really similar. If you want a more upscale resort with a nice beach and a fun and active nightlife, friendly, open-minded people, then you can't beat either of the two Desire resorts. We love the beach and pools, but really enjoy the nightlife, particularly at RM. Great nighclub with the elevated, lighted dance floor, and just love the outdoor 24/7 lobby bar. You should really go through alot of the posts and trip reviews on this site as to the differences between the two resorts. As you will see, there is quite a split as to which one people prefer. While the crowd and activity level will vary greatly at both resorts from week to week, and even day to day, in general the average crowd at Desire RM will likely be a bit younger than that at Pearl, if that is a factor to you.

In terms of beach beds, Desire RM has around 45 of them. Roughly 20 of them are reserved for the passion suites and preferred members, so you still have ample opportunity to reserve one at RM. As Coke indicated, Pearl has a small number of beds that are reserved. Both resorts do have foot traffic in front of them, as there are other resorts up and down the beach. Most of us simply don't care, as Desire security keeeps an eye on things pretty well. Pearl's beach is deeper, with more shade from palm trees. RM's is not as deep although it is longer. As we like to get some rays part of the day, we like the facst that at RM there is a row of loungers in front of the beach beds which we utilize, and there are always plenty avaible. We like both resorts, but are still partial to RM after 7 visits there. Hope this is helpful.

We just got back from two weeks at Pearl, so plenty of recent experience. We spent most mornings nude on the beach under the palapas (thatched sunshades) shaded by the palm trees. Around 20 guest couples would be there each day - all mostly nude. Perhaps half a dozen people walk past each hour from other resorts, plus locals walking their dogs, but nobody ever stops and stares. It certainly isn't heavy foot traffic. We walked the beach naked and swam in the sea - nobody looked or seemed to be at all interested. We also play beach games nude. The beach is wider at Pearl than RM, more shaded by palms and much prettier. The bar staff are constantly taking drinks to people on the beach: this is excellent service. Thoroughly recommend Pearl!

If you like people to see you having sex, then Pearl is the place using the beds round the huge jacuzzi. We got there most nights and loved it. Again nobody overtly stands and watches, but you are always aware of others around, especially those having sex on the neighbouring beds. People also have sex in the jacuzzi - with condoms please if you want happy endings there. RM is similar, but the jacuzzi is much smaller. Just use antibug spray when playing on the beds at night.

There is also the Eyes Wide Shut night, where you can have sex on a bed with 50 people in a circle watching you, so plenty of opportunity for exhibitionism, voyeurism and PDS. We were the only couple to take part, though the staff did invite everyone to. They do this differently at RM I understand.

Hope this helps. Send a PM if you need more.

If you are beach lovers, forget Hidden Beach! It's called Hidden Beach for a reason ie. there really isn't a beach to speak of! It's very small, rocky and the sea is almost impossible to access. The beach next door at El Dorado Seaside Suites is gorgeous, and you can use it, but it is textile so you need bottoms on at least.
In my opinion, the beach at Pearl is the better of the 2 Desires, the sea at RM can get brown and uninviting from a river next to the resort. The sea at Pearl is crystal clear, perfect for snorkelling around the pier. Don't worry about folk walking past, it really is not an issue, they are usually the ones that are embarrassed!
