Foam Party: Desire vs Desire Pearl.

Anyone who has been to foam party at both original Desire and Pearl? We will be at Pearl in February and wondering if it would be worth a trip to the original Desire to experience their foam party.

We did the Pearl foam party in August. It was fun they do theirs in the pool while I think Original Desire does it in the lobby.

We were late for the Pearl party, but watched it. we did go to the roof top foam party at RM and had a great time. The party at Pearl looked ok, good way to have fun during day. Rm roof top was so much fun, would go back and do again.

We felt that the foam party at RM was better. The foam party at Pearl was difficult for us since it was in the pool and the foam was over our heads unless you were on the edge of the foam. The party at RM was in the lobby & the foam was usually only chest deep at the high points. We ended up getting a chest infection from breathing the foam in at Pearl.

We are staying at Pearl so may need to visit RM and check their version out. Hope they still have it in February.

Agree somewhat that the foam was above your head at Pearl, but it was awesome being "blind" and negotiating your way around the pool, only a couple of people complained about it stinging their eyes, most thought it was great fun.
It was a great scene with the pool full of people with their partner or someone elses on their shoulders dancing in the foam

Is the foam really an irritant to your lungs? My wife has asthma and I don't want to expose her to any any danger. We do have goggles to protect our eyes.

It did not bother our eyes or lungs at DRM in October. We pretty much stayed where the foam was shoulder height or less.

Yes, some people did find it bothered their lungs to the extent of coughing a little at pearl as the height varied due to the wind, definitely something to keep in mind - Mabee a snorkel

This is going to vary but both of us were deep in the foam and towards the end of the event were already coughing. Our lungs were irritated for about a week, so we know better next time to stay on the edge of the foam and not get it higher than chest high.

We were at DRM before Halloween and brought goggles for the foam party - just way too much fun! That keeps the foam out of your eyes so you can keep on dancing.
