As a guest of Pearl can you visit Riviera Maya?

Arriving at Pearl January 30th and was wondering if one can visit Riviera Maya for the afternoon just to see the difference between the 2? If so, Im assuming RM guests can come to Pearl? Just Curious..

Yes you can. You have exchange privileges at no extra cost except for your cab fare- you can go and eat and play during the day all you want and then go back to Pearl. You may be able to get the water sports staff to take you by boat.

yes you can! We are also thinking of making a visit so maybe we can share a cab together (we are arriving to Pearl on 30th Jan) - their foam parties our fun! But Pearl is much nicer and more relaxed resort. We sped 6 nights in RM last year and we don't think we will be rushing back unless we have a nice group of friends to go with which is extremely unlikely
We just feel Pearl is better value for money and much better service and lovely staff.

My hubby and I were there last May, and we walked to RM via the beach. HOWEVER, we were not allowed on the property due to a takeover. Pearl told us we had exchange privileges, however, they failed to tell us the exception was during a takeover. So to be on the safe side, I would ask before going. (This of course may have changed since we've been there.)
