Has anyone booked there room with the 1-800 number on the desire pearl website, if yes any problems?

We did used the phone number to call for changing a reservation.
Staff was very helpful and friendly, and yes they speak English too.

We booked last year through the Desire 800# and booked our upcoming trip as well.

Never a problem and they sent email confirmations immediately.

Not really sure why you would. The prices are so much better on Orbitz. The price quote I get from the website is $497/night. The price I just paid on Orbitz was $370/night. You do have to book a flight at the same time, but nobody drives to Desire from the US. I wouldn't use frequent flyer miles because of the discount you get by booking the combination.

You are right, it will be cheaper, but I've had bad experience with those types of sights. I like to go directly to the source. Thanks for the info.
