Yes, we're a whole year out. That's next time we'll have someone capable enough to watch our four kids while we go play in the sun for a week.

We had wanted to do the photo shoot last year at Pearl, but could not find out if it is possible to just get the SD card of the session versus purchasing individual pics. We would probably never put the pics into an actual album so we like the idea of having all the photos digitally for our personal use. Has anyone ever inquired on this option?

They sold us a CD with all the pics on it. They also did a sort of music video with a slideshow on the CD. Really nice keepsake.

Does anyone know about what the cost of the photo shoot is? Very interested in doing this while we are there!!!

The photo shoot is free. You buy the pictures. The cost per picture depends on how many you buy, what type of package you buy, whether you are purchasing a CD, etc.... We bought the cd with about 40 pics and a video slide show set to music. If my memory is correct we paid about $300.

We have run into issues in the past with the photographer (different resort) saying that they would charge a surcharge if we paid with a credit card. Our card has no international fees, but don't want to pay more up front if we can avoid it. We will bring cash if we need to, but would prefer to use our card and not have the extra cash to worry about.

We used a credit card. Our photographer was a woman. Directed us. Said it could be as risqué as we wanted. We paid $380 for 40 pics and a slide show after days of negotiation. We did not tip on top of that price. I think I answered all of the above. If not feel free to ask any questions.

Hello, we are thinking of going to Pearl right after new years for our first time at Desire. Does anyone know of a site that provides samples of the photographer's shots (just to get an idea if they are any good)? Also, is this available at Pearl?

Any replies are much appreciated.
