We just returned from our 2nd trip to DP and will be back many more times in the future! We have one suggestion and would like to see if any one else agrees. We think the night club should open at 9 P.m. to get things going a little earlier. After the late afternoon hot tub activities and then dinner the lag time between dinner and the club opening at 10:30 is too long. The entertainment in the lobby that takes place is not that interesting as evidenced by so few people participating in the lobby entertainment. Opening the club earlier should get "things" going earlier...any one else agree?

We would agree but it probably will never happen.
Too many folks nap and chill after a long day of sun and pool fun, and then the 6pm jacuzzi--it all amounts to exhaustion.

Costumes and sexy attire...dinner dates, in the end everything gets started late.
We'd love it earlier, but for most it just isn't practical and the disco would be deserted.

We love Desire, but we've always agreed, the tough part is getting on with major lack of sleep for a week.

My vote would be for the post-diner, pre-disco arrangement like they have at DRM. They offer "soft" music entertainment at the outdoor bar area just off the lobby, which is far better than the setup at DP. The attendance is good, lots of people watching and/or interaction with a nice band to dance to or just sit and listen. It's a nice time to change from dinner to disco dress and relax before any other activities. Some will make it the final part of the evening while others are just getting started. It's the one thing I like about DRM over DP.
