Hello everyone,
My wife and I are planning to spend 8 days in November in Mexico and are trying to decide if we should spend the entire time at Pearl ( first time) or divide between Pearl and RM( two visits).I have heard on this board and others that the vibe is different between the two and frankly concerned that it may be a little quiet at Pearl over a 8 day stay. Any thoughts ? We also travel to Hedo on occasion but are looking forward to the more seductive side that Desire provides and from what I have seen continues to provide , just love those drinks at the lounge before dinner!

As we have to come so far (11 hour flight) we always come for 2 weeks. We find our ideal split is the first week at RM to party hard, then a week at Pearl to chill in ultimate luxury.

We almost always so a 8 day visit, mostly to Desire RM.

A lot depends on the crowd that is at Desire RM or Pearl during your planned stay - but that said, in general I'd have to agree with what WhiteSands posted

It would be nice to do two weeks but schedule just will not allow that, I think a split would work for us , we can always seem to find some sort of trouble wherever we go. Thanks for your thoughts

We've stayed at RM several times and did a day trip to Pearl once - loved it. Next trip already booked and it's 2 nights at Pearl to start with and then off to RM for 5 nights. We've been to RM in Nov - Dec - March - April - August... so we've seen PACKED and desolate. When we visited Pearl in April it was crowded and had a very sexy atmosphere. I'm not too worried about where we stay and when :) Good times are pretty easy to find if you look.
