Have any couples gone out tobCancun at night during your stay at Pearl? Is it worth it? How much does a taxi there cost and is it easy to get a taxi to drive you back to Pearl since it is out of the way.

It will cost you about $100 USD taxi round trip to the Cancun HZ where the clubs and some tourist markets are, about the same to Playa del Carmen - yes it's easy to get a taxi back to Desire from either the Cancun HZ or Playa.

IMHO - if this is your first trip to Desire, do the touristy stuff on another trip when you are staying at a less expensive resort in Cancun or Playa

Sometimes the entertainers go or clubbing, might be fun if you all go together one night!
