Internet Connection??

10 days, and our naked butts will be sitting in the sand at DP. Can't wait. I would like to use my iphone to stream Pandora and spotify. How is the internet connection at Pearl? More specifically, how is it at the beach and around the pool? Just curious??? We're very excited to meet some new friends and have a great time. This is our first time to stay in a penthouse. Look out!!!

Sorry, we never tried to use it anywhere other than the lobby. It worked well in the lobby.

Just got back last week. The wifi at the beach was often times non-existant. At no time would it have been strong enough to stream Pandora.

We had a strong enough signal in our room but had issues with Pandora, got a message that it was not available in Mexico. It was the first time we tried in MX so it could have been us.....anyway, the signal was strong enough for us to get some work done a couple mornings.

Our last time there, it worked well in our room -- male half needed to do a bit of business each morning. The beach seems hit or miss. One other consideration, music is usually playing from the pool area and can be heard on the beach (although obviously not as loud).
