Can't seem to find an answer to this, but do the rooms with plunge pools have an ocean view?

All the rooms have an ocean view.

All rooms are ocean view because they "face" the ocean. We had room 79, which is a junior suite with plunge pool. Standing at the window, you could see the ocean between the many palm trees on the beach. But certainly not an unobstructed view. Such views come with higher floor rooms. But no plunge pool. Tough trade off, however. The direct walk out to the pool, versus a flight or more of stairs, was very appealing to us.

Are all the plunge pools shaded by the deck above?

Would prefer not and can't seem to find definitive info on.

Does anybody know where to look to find more pictures of junior suites with plunge pools?

FYI - there is only one Junior suite with a plunge pool ie room 76

All rooms do NOT have an ocean view. We were just there and had a great time. But, our master suite (14) had absolutely no ocean view.

We are getting the Ocean View room in August. Is it possible to call ahead to try to lock up room 79 since it has a plunge pool, or do I have to wait until I get there and hope like hell that I can get it? Does anyone (CokeMann) know which building room 79 is in?

You can put in a specific room request when you fill out the on line Express Check In form( note: no earlier than two weeks before your arrival date) no guarantees that you will get a specific room if you only give them one choice however

I requested room 76 (Junior Sweet W/Plunge Pool) about 2 months ago. I just followed up with express check inn yesterday, and requested it again. Arriving at Pearl on Sunday 4/27/14. Hopefully it all works out. I have been corresponding with the front desk at Pearl through email, and was told, no guarantee but they will do everything in their power to accommodate.
