We are first timers. What is the advantage of pre-registering? Is it just a time saver upon arrival at check-in? How long does regular check-in typically take?
Thanks,
Bud and Lee

You can request a room in an area of the resort that you would prefer. There is a resort map in the FAQ section.

20 to 30 minutes. Upon arrival, they usually provide you with a drink.

Thanks for the response. Is preregistering the only way to request a room, or can an email be sent, about a week before we arrive, which would include our preferences? And, also, if we don't preregister, when we check in, would they be able to show us on the resort map which buildings are available, or is our room assignment already made at that point?
Thanks,

if you do not pre register just ask at check in what room options they have and select based on your preference. They will do there best to accommodate.
It never hurts to ask. We all pay a lot of money to stay here. They want your experience to exceed expectations.
