We're so glad that most of the responses here are 'negative' towards picture taking at the resort.
Big thumbs up to those who take pics when no one else is around - who doesn't want to have vacation photos and capture some holiday moments?
But, as we all know, most people carry around their portable/hand held devices that have camera functions built into them. How are we to know that our 'neighbour' sitting in lounger next to us by the pool or on the beach isn't snapping pics of the 'resort'' ? We don't. And who really wants to confront anyone or cause any altercations whilst on vacation at Desire??
Most people who take photos on the resort are only wanting their own Desire memories captured - and I do believe there is a time and place where this allowed - isn't there a time around the lobby bar in the evening where one can do this when you're all dressed up for dinner?
On this past trip of ours we found a great little garden area over by the gym and tennis court that is a perfect little spot to take photos. And outside the resort by the bridge where the crocodiles are is also a great place to take pics.
Please be mindful that not everyone wants their picture taken - whether you ask or not.
