Typical day at desire pearl

We are making our first visit in October and rally looking forward to it. Can someone give a run down of a typical day. We've read about the afternoon jacuzzi, dinner then the dark room, but what time do things happen? We only have four days and we don't want to miss a thing.

Activities at the pool and beach start at 10 AM - that's when the activities staff shows up. (Hey Jessica and Charlie!) So for many the day begins with yoga poolside at 11:00 (or Thai massage if you are lucky enough to be there when Lisa is instructing - hope you're enjoying WS, Lisa!) So start with breakfast; most people seem to eat breakfast between 8-10 although some straggle in later. Then lunch is served at 11, but stick around because the activities staff will keep you entertained until they go to lunch at 1. More pool and beach activities all afternoon. The jacuzzi opens at 3PM but we found last week that most of the beds at the jacuzzi were "reserved" (books, bags, towels, etc., thrown on them) right after lunch. Kind of a shame because a lot of them still had the same items after 4PM. We were there during a very reserved week, it seems. Not much sexual activity at the hot tub, but people did migrate from the pool and beach to the hot tub around 4:30, when the pool bar closed. Average dinner time was 7 - 8 PM. Band starts at 10 in the lobby; disco opens at 10:30, show is over by 11:30; hot tub was moderately busy - but again, a lot of socializing and not much activity - from 11 PM to 1 AM or so. BUT - every week is different. It all depends on the crowd. peace... bert

We hope the same thing in June! We like socializing but we want to play!!!!

I am hoping it will be lots of fun things that are happening.. Can't wait to go.. Only 2 more weeks!!

We will be making our third trip this time, and our biggest regret was wasting a day the first time by going off the resort. The day's just fly by, breakfast, pool time, activites (volleyball, 'sexercize', etc), then lunch by the pool. We usually swim in the ocean a bit as well. More afternoon activities and usually a short nap since we were up all night the night before, then dinner, disco, and hot tub time!

We have met couples and hung out with them each time we have gone - socializing has always been very, VERY easy for us at Pearl, and we usually end up going to dinner with others every night. It's a blast
