July occupancy

So we are looking forward to our summer trip starting july 25th. Been a few years since we went in july. Last summer trip was labor day last year. Whats the occupancy been lately? Looking forward to more laid back time at pearl but still want a nice crowd.

We are told by our travel agent there is a 70% occupancy showing for July, but notes there may be rooms returned by agencies holding rooms and inventory they have saved for online agencies, so no way to know for sure until we get there (in 10 days). We have been to Desire Pearl about eight times now. We really love this resort, even more than the original property. The Pearl is much nicer, better beach and nicer rooms! So we don't care if the occupancy is lower than the other property because we can't bang everyone anyway. Just a few couples is all we need to have a blast for our stay. More people does not mean we get all of them (I wish). It's all about MY fun, not just a overall vibe :>)~

We just did 4 nights at Pearl from Jul 27 to Jul 1 and then 5 nights at RM. Occupancy at Pearl was said to be around 70%-80% which we found to be just perfect in every way. We absolutely loved our stay at Pearl. RM was fun, but it didn't compare to Pearl in most areas. The only areas that RM may have topped Pearl were the quality and variety of food (Pearl was just fine, but RM had so much more to offer) and the disco (Pearl's was fairly tame, but RM's was usually hopping). Pearl pool and hot tub is miles beyond RM's. Entertainment crew at Pearl were amazing, while RM's were almost non-existent. Pearl definitely gets our vote!
