Pearl or RM??

We're an Asian-American couple from NJ and we're planning our first visit to Desire. Can't decide between Pearl or RM. Can some of you who have visited both locations give us a description of both resorts? And your personal reviews and preferences? We're looking for a trip in late July or August 2014.

we are pearl regulars, we hung out at the RM, but have heard the rooms are nicer at pearl and thats important to us. we have friends who love RM though - its known for being "wilder" but we have seen some pretty wild things at both places!

Thank you lotsoffun....we decided to go to Pearl. Now the big decision is when. We heard that September is bad cause of hurricanes. July is too soon and a scramble. Probably August if we can make a few shifts in our schedule. October is just too far away. We'll be there soon....
