Is the pool heated?

Is the main pool at Desire Pearl heated. If not what is it like in January. I have seen days in February when a non-heated pool in Tulum was too cold to get in. Also what is the water temp like in the Ocean? Just considering alternatives to the hot tub.

No it's not heated. When we were there last December it was too cold to get in the first week (weather was bad!), but when the sun decided to play ball it was lovely.
The ocean is fine if it's not too windy, a bit stony underfoot, would recommend shoes.

We were there in January. The pool was fine for me but a little cold for my wife. I got in the ocean and thought that the water temperature was ok. What was said about the rocks is true. I would wear something on your feet.
We also went scuba diving at Pearl and in Cozumel but that won't help you much because we had on wetsuits.
