We are heading down to Pearl for December and last time we were there, I didn't see a mixed drink list anywhere. Does this exist? I know at RM they have a drink of the day posted at the lobby bar, it lists what is in it which is nice to know.

If there is no list, can you tell my what mixed drinks you have found that you like the best. I know the mojito is good and the frozen version also...

Correct. Just returned and no drink list. They do a great Mango Mojito though

There is no limit on what you can order - just tell the bartenders what liquors / flavors you like and ask them to mix you up several possibilities to sample each time - pick the ones you like and remember the names - next bar trip repeat - by the end of several days you should have a great personalized list.

HA! Good idea about what flavours I like but there are too many to break it down! The only thing I'm not a fan of is rum. I wonder if they make a Bahama Mama like they did at DLC. I had quite a few too many of those killer ones. Talk about not being able to walk straight! That's when you just stay in the jacuzzi or pool until it clears out and then try to make an elegant exit! lol!

I'm not a Rum fan either, but the white Rum they use in their regular mojito and other drinks has sort of changed my opinion
- at least while on vacation when I don't have to pay for each round

One of the barmen (Eduardo?) at the jacuzzi bar makes an as yet unnamed fabulous fruity cocktail thingy with fresh passion fruit. Oh how I want one of those right now......

They did but I haven't seen it in the past year or so. We pick up a bottle at the airport in Cancun.....

Hmm, now I'm curious about this rum. Do you drink it straight? Is it a white rum? Is this a stupid question? lol!

Not stupid at all. They have white and amber rum, aged 3, 7 and 15 years I believe which the first two are good with mixers and the 15 year good over ice with a squeeze of lime. They also have a maximum anejo which is smooth, but pricey!

Cubans do great rum and cigars, my wife says I'm not bad myself.....LOL!

So, breakthrough, saw you guys are going in the spring.....we are booked 2/28 - 3/8. We'll bring the rum.....HA!

We were there last September and one day they did at cocktail "class"...mostly consisted of us drinking lord knows what..and ended in body shots.... but they had a bunch of "named" drinks that they made. We were big on the "Iceberg" it's a beer with a frozen margarita in it. Sounds weird...but lighter with less sugar than some of that crazy stuff. That said...we always start with a Pina Colada..the first drink we have at the pool bar...that is VACATION!

Does anyone know if they make a Caesar....that is with Clamato juice, not just tomato juice, which isn't a Caesar in our opinion... but in a lot of places, eg: (jamiaca) that's what you get.

Any more drink idea's to try? I like the suggestions and have started a list to try them all!

Also, does anyone know what bottles the suites come stocked with and can you ask for something instead of say, Gin? Wondering if we can get a bottle of Crown Royal in the room or is that a stretch? Or Patron would be nice....really nice. Or maybe Jose Cuervo...
