After months of anticipation...am I REALLY getting cold feet

I understand how you feel. We are heading there on Friday, newbies as well. I'm 51 and have struggled with my weight my whole life. I had two 10 lb babies and a c-section. I"m redheaded and pale. I've lost weight but am still nowhere near thin. My BF thinks I'm sexy and I believe him-because we are there to rediscover each other, and if there are new friends in the mix at some point, that's good too.
I don't have a perfect flat stomach and I've never had any sort of cosmetic procedure of any kind. If someone has an issue with how I look, they are free to look elsewhere.

my point is - don't worry about it so much. You are there with the person that you love, and you will have a fabulous time together. Don't spend your week worrying about what other people think.

We just got back home late last night from Pearl. We had a great time meeting several of the people in this thread, including mrladysman, rykerw1701, and you and your bf, Jen. Absolutely fantastic time! Such amazing, fun, sexy, confident people. Mrs Pk had many of the same concerns mentioned here, but by the end of the trip we were fully at ease... Best vacation ever! Coming back for sure when time and money allows.

We would really love to hear your opinion now, Jen, after Having experienced Pearl. BTW, you guys looked fabulous!

Great report. Nothing wrong about being honest. We are considering a report of our own, and agree with side of your points. We had a great time, in large part due to the people we met and the chance to push past our comfort zone.
