Pearl or RM For First Visit?

Desire Pearl for a Newbie...and if you are looking for crazy time, in both you are going to find it, if you look for it.

Yoyo is oh so right .............. If you want to have a good or great time, you will find it. If it doesn't come to you, you sure can invent the moment and others will surely join the fun. I don't think anyone can be disappointed if you use and play with a little bit of ingenuity! We will definitely practice all of this when we return to Pearl on June 8th for 8 nights. Cheers!!!!!!!!

We too agree with Yoyo....you talked about Pearl is supposed to the "nicer" resort. That was the reason we went with Pearl for our 1st time....and now our 2nd time coming up in 3 weeks. We have never been to RM so I probably shouldn't be weighing in on this but if you are used to 4 and 5 start Mexico resorts I can't imagine being in something that wasn't as "nice " as Pearl. We decided the experience and atmosphere were worth more to us last year than the star rating...we were right. That said we have definitely been spoiled with high end linens, room quality, and food choices prior to Desire. Obviously we didn't miss it we booked again a year later. Enjoy! And just Book it already!!

Totally depends on who's there, our last trip to RM it was like a vanilla resort. Three trips in a row to Pearl and haven't looked back. Crowd and vibe are tough to predict.

Been to RM 5x and just returned from 1st at Pearl. Pearl was 100% occupancy while we were there. I think it looks less crowded, because the pool is a good deal larger and everything is ocean view.... Both resorts are great and it's the people that make it so. Have no fear as a "newbie". You will find as much or little activity as you like We're going back to Pearl for 2015, but may split between both resorts as we miss our pals at RM too If you can swing both that's ideal
