Hello all- we are Nick and Kitty- very much looking forward to our first trip to Desire Pearl in 2015. Booked for a week in September (9/9-9/17) with a couple great friends and while it is too early for a countdown it is definitely not too early to start meeting new friends!
We are a 43m/50f married couple from the San Diego area. He's a fireman, she's a nurse- youngish for empty nesters we are told, and enjoying a rediscovery of our adult relationship with our daughter away at college. We love travel, dive bars, and the kind of insanity that happens with an open bar and a lack of clothing!
We have travelled to LS friendly resorts before- mainly h2 and h3 in Jamaica, and visited temptation resort in Cancun in 2013- kinda left us a bit wanting in the adult activities department though we met a lot of great semi-vanilla people and the resort activities were fun. Hoping Desire brings us a beautiful resort with fun and friendly people, a little craziness, and some great memories.

Well you sure do plan ahead! Hi, we are Kevin and Andrea from Paso Robles. We tried Pearl last September for our 25th anniversary trip without kids. We are 49 and 46 and also early empty nesters. What a difference it makes in your relationship. We were just in San Diego for the Seahawks game. Terrible game and what awful weather you were having. I can't imagine what adult activities you could be missing at pearl. The hot tub public displays should set the mood I would think. Please let us know if you are ever in the neighborhood!

Hello Kevin and Andrea- thanks for the reply. Yeah we plan ahead- easier to get the vacation days I want that way, and the planning is ! We have always travelled at the end of July, and are looking forward to a hopefully slightly cooler climate this time. I was at that game- my dad and I are season ticket holders- the best sporting event I have ever been to, but as our seats were in full sun it was quite warm. I will definitely say hello if we are headed that way.
