So I waited too long to book the trip my wife and I are planning and now all rooms are booked for one of the nights we were thinking about - planning on being there over Thanksgiving weekend and the Saturday is completely booked.

I submitted for the waitlist - has anyone had good luck with it before?

I have had luck with RM. I was persistant and emailed about once a week politley asking if anything was available.

My email worked - we're booked for Desire Pearl over Thanksgiving weekend!

We had a similar issue this last June and we chose to book an upgraded room (Master Suite) for that one night ...... other nights were in an Ocean Front room at Pearl. I do agree that if you are persistent and keep checking with them, there is a good chance that a room will open for the night that you need. Hey, maybe you can "bunk-in" with another couple for the needed night!
