Sushi/Sashimi Restaurant Review

Postby scottco » Fri Dec 05, 2014 7:17 pm

Much has already been said by several about the new Pearl Sushi restaurant. We were at Desire Nov. 21-29, 2014 splitting our time between the two properties. I have added some pictures of the food being offered. We were not disappointed, it was very fresh and tasted very good. Victor manages the restaurant and Ricardo is the head sushi chef. I recommend it for all that enjoy sushi and sashimi. The martini bar is also a very nice addition.

Can you go to the Martini Bar without dining in the Sushi restaurant?

Thanks scottco.
Is there an option of outdoor dining or all tables indoors?

Yes, you can go to the martini bar without having reservations or dinner in the sushi restaurant. There is outdoor couch and chair seating at the bar. It was very popular on the two nights it was open which is only when the sushi restaurant is open. Perhaps, they will allow the bar to be open more nights if it remains popular. No, they do not allow outdoor dining for the sushi restaurant. The martini list is not extensive but adequate.

Any updates since the last post? Still only open a couple nights a week? Is seating still somewhat limited? Thanks in advance for any feedback from anyone that was there recently.......

We just got back 2 weeks ago and it was still only open two nights. Reservations for the limited spots were actually filled by Wednesday night I believe it was. The resort was also completely booked and many who came in Thursday couldn't get a table.
