Is playing around or in the pool against the rules?

Water volleyball and other pool games are typical of playtime in the pool - oh wait - you mean ...... Yes normally, however during ISM in January those rules get somewhat relaxed. ;)

The "no play" rules are also relaxed quite a bit during the foam party. Ask me how I know...

At Desire play is possible almost anywhere depending on the crowd, vibe and time of day. Generally speaking, the beach is restricted and you can't ever play inside a restaurant. The first time we went (Cabo) we got a "sex ticket". Last time at RM we were playing on our pool bed, but nobody said anything... until the hot tub that afternoon when we got lots of compliments! I really want a new ticket because I lost my old one and I want one framed...

On our first trip to DP there was a couple on a bed at the quiet side of the pool under a blanket during the day- they were asked to stop and take it somewhere else.

That was a few months ago so maybe they have relaxed their 'rules' a bit.

I've seen couples "discreetly" have some very low-energy sex by the pool. You can't really see anything, but you can tell he's in there. It looks boring. They usually give up pretty quickly, and I've never seen anyone say anything to them.
If you're doing something that's counter to the vibe and listed in the rules as a no-no, you can expect to be told off. If you stay within the rules OR if you're in harmony with the overall scene around you, you should be fine. I think a couple under a blanket at the pool would be kinda weird whether they were f**king or not.

It probably doesn't help that at Pearl the pool area isn't really shielded from the beach, or that the prurient nature of the resort is so alarming to the local townsfolk.
