May or August

My wife and I are planning a return trip to DP after our first trip in late Dec. We loved the resort, but the occupancy was kinda low. That was our first trip there and the couples that had been multiple times that the energy was a little lower than their previous visits. We have time in our schedules for either late May or early August. When is the best month between those two to go?

Not sure about May, but after a number of trips to DRM we did our first trip to DP last August for the beginning of "Sexy, young and wild". Great time and the resort was full :D All were sexy, some were young and most were wild. Hoping for the same when we return. 8)

Both :D

I would think August would have more people if early in month. I know we normally go in July/Early Aug because our kids are out of school and can get extended babysitters. Occupancy was very high last July around the 22nd or so thru end of month. Memorial Day weekend is packed as is Labor day weekend.

We were at Pearl the third week of July last year and had the best vacation of our lives. The resort was near 100% capacity and we met some absolutely wonderful people. We will be back this July for 8 days and it can't get here soon enough! I don't know much about any other time of the year but I do highly recommend late July. Don't see how you could be disappointed. :D

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like August is the winner. A little bummed actually. That's three additional months we have to wait. Oh well, I guess the anticipation build up will be longer.
