Generally the wifi is pretty good in most of the rooms, outages are much less common than in the past. (This is quite a change from when Pearl first opened!) There do seem to be a few rooms that have pretty weak access, from discussions with many guests over the past year, with the buildings closest to the dive shack, and then the buildings closest to the hot tub having the best, most consistently strong and reliable signal.
In Aphrodite, sit close to the front door for the strongest signal. Near the buffet can be extremely weak.
The beach can be hit or miss, depending on the device and proximity to either Aphrodite or the dive shack.
The pool area is generally good as well, it seems to sit under a halo of wifi.
As others have noted the lobby is the place to go, especially if the routers go out in other parts of the resort. The wifi might not be repaired in a day or two if the problem is near the rooms, but you can guarantee it will only be out for an hour at most in the lobby (where the staff needs the internet access).
If the guest wifi goes out and you need to use the password protected wifi in the lobby (there are multiple wifi networks in the lobby), just ask the front desk and they'll give you the password. They probably won't give it to you if the wifi is working on the rest of the property, though.
Hope I didn't miss anything!
Cheers!
