Can you drink the tap water at Pearl without getting diarrhea cha cha cha. The ice? Brushing your teeth in the sink? Is it safe?

Yes, the water and ice are safe to drink, they use the 5 gallon bottles, etc at the bars and restaurants and they also stock the room fridges with liter bottles daily. We never use the tap water since filtered water is available.

I wouldn't drink the tap water, just to be on the safe side. Plenty of bottled water provided for drinking.

Even brushing your teeth , we still us bottle H2o.

never had an issue in 5 trips drinking water or having ice.

I drank out of the tap a few times. Not a single rumble.

A number of people got really sick with stomach issues on our trip last November. We couldn't pinpoint one thing that made them sick...it might have just been a viral bug passing around the resort (that happens everywhere in the world...probably worse in areas where people are in close quarters and kissing on each other haha!). My husband was one that got sick...and it was a definite downer. The incident made us much more cautious. I believe the ice is perfectly safe...but I would use bottled water in the rooms just to be safe!
