This will be our first time...
What is the general consensus on room preferences?
Are lower level more desirable? Closer to the Jacuzzi? Far from Jacuzzi area?
Thoughts???
TIA

Quiet side of pool...first floor. Thats what we have requested for our trip in two weeks.

We prefer upper floors ( not fans of heels clicking on tile floors above us or chairs being dragged across the floor) and we like the quieter areas. View is nice but not a necessity.

There are a ton of posts on room preferences. Use the search function to find a lot of info. We have stayed on the 1st and second floors, all on the "quite end." This time we are going to try to get a ground floor unit near the jacuzzi. Keep in mind there are no elevators so you have to climb stairs for the upper levels. As far as I know this is the only disadvantage to a penthouse

but, exercise is good.
You don't spend that much time in the room anyway. Have fun!

We just had a first floor room with a patio-- We liked this location since it gave us the ability to walk in and out to the pool from our room.

Yep, first room with a patio at the fun side of the pool. Easy in and out...and a short stagger from the hot tub. I guess the view from the upper levels is better, but we were never in our room.

6 inch heels and lots of alcohol = ground floor is better.
