Does the resort offer any type of clothing optional sailing or snorkeling tour?

We've only been to DRM, but they offer a nude Cat cruise on a very nice boat.
We went with 6 other couples a few years back (it may have been before Pearl) and it was a pretty wild time -- kinda like the Playroom all day.
Your mileage may vary depending on the guests with whom you travel.
All the other boats were anxious to get near the Desire Cat Cruise so their tourists could see all the crazy naked people from Desire.
We were more than happy to accommodate their wildest expectations.

Unfortunately that is no longer available (just checked since we were looking for the same option for our May group)
The nude snorkeling is a possibility - offered by the watersports group at Pearl, can book it from either resort when you get on site.

We were just at DRM in January and the salesperson for outside excursions said it could be arranged if there was sufficient interest.

Yes, almost anything is available with the tour people - lol - but not the way it was right from Desire. For what they are now offering you need a minimum of 10 to 15 couples and for the cruise part it leaves from and returns to the Cancun Hotel Zone.

We were at DRM over February 7th - 15th, 2015. We were able to take the half-day naked cruise and snorkeling trip that ran out of Pearl. We just took a taxi down to Pearl.

Did you say they offer a half day cruise from the pearl? We love going sailing. Any details on such a cruise would be appreciated.

We were able to book the trip at DRM (through the person who manages excursions), even though the cruise leaves out of Pearl. The cost of the cruise plus snorkeling was just about $100 per person, not including cab fare to get from DRM to Pearl and back.
The clothing-optional catamaran boat cruise left out of Pearl at about 10:30 AM. We traveled down the coastline for about an hour, during which time we were served drinks and got to chat a bit with the other couples. We eventually arrived at the naked snorkeling spot, which is not in a protected sea life zone- so no purchase of an access pass to the area was required, as it is with the other snorkeling spots. We had about an hour to explore the undersea flora and fauna, then it was time to climb back aboard the boat for a light lunch while we stayed anchored near the snorkeling area. After lunch, the crew hauled up the anchor and we sailed slowly back up to Pearl, enjoying greeting passing boats and jet-skis in our birthday suits! The crew tried to help turn things more sexy by helpfully providing vibrators for the couples to use, but the mood among the three couples on board seemed not to be up for that kind of fun. After a pleasant cruise, we arrived back at Pearl by around 2:30PM.

Just got back from Pearl. Went on the four-hour catamaran cruise from the Pearl dock. There were three couples who met for the first time on the dock. Hubby and I were the only couple who stayed nude the entire cruise. In fairness, the other couples were white as snow and were trying to keep from 3rd degree burns. We went snorkeling about an hour and a half south of Pearl. Had a great swim, nice lunch, all the booze you could consume, and a wonderful massage for the ladies provided by the first mate. It was a tame cruise (sexually), but great coastline scenery, yummy food, strong drinks and pleasant conversations. We love sailing and plan to take another cruise on our July trip. The trip requires at least three couples and up to seven couples, so for more romantic vibe, choose your sailing mates when you book by putting together a group. In July, we'll be looking for some romantic couples to join us. The first mate gives a very good massage, but on our next trip, I want a massage from someone besides the "hired help" (hint, hint). XL

Several of the couples we hung out with last year took a similar cruise. We were not able to join them because we had an excursion scheduled that day. That won't happen again because it sure sounded like we missed out! We are hoping to find a few couples and take a catamaran cruise this year! When in July will you guys be there? (hint, hint)

We don't always go sailing, but when we do we prefer birthday suits.
