We are planning to stay 4 nights in October then to Havana for 4 nights and then back to Pearl for 4 nights.
Any advice as to the best nights of the week to stay at Pearl would be appreciated.
This is our first visit.

Most people agree that the Foam Party on Saturday is not to be missed. Other than that, perhaps specific theme nights might sway your choice.

Enjoy your stay!

If we were to do a 4 night stay, we would likely look at Wednesday/Thursday through the weekend. The weekends tend to have larger crowds and you may see more of a variety of patrons as groups often come/leave on Sunday ............ our experience. Enjoy, every moment at Desire is great!

So jealous! Being American we can't go to Cuba yet without going thru some sort of educational exchange. You sound like you have an amazing holiday planned. We are thinking about planning an October trip so maybe we will see you at Pearl! But yes as others have said Thrurs Fri Sat are the most fun in terms of hi population... And the Saturday foam party at Pearl!!!

I'm curious about that visiting Cuba thing. From my understanding, Cuba has no problem with allowing American tourists in to visit... the hurdle is getting there and returning to the US. It's the US that has travel restrictions in place.... not Cuba.I know several Americans that have traveled to Cuba. My closest airport not in the US is Montreal. My friends went from New York to Montreal, and then flew to Havana from there, and did the same trip in reverse to get home... no issues whatsoever.

So, it begs the question... why CAN'T an American fly to Cuba from Mexico, and then back to Mexico before heading home??? Would love to hear comments on this.

Many do, just don't get your passports stamped in Cuba and you won't have a problem upon your return into the USA.

But you would be returning to the US from Mexico, not Cuba...... The trip would be US-MX-CU_MX-US

Lots of Americans have a Cuba stamp on their passports and are able to continue to use their passport for other travel.

Today starts a direct flight from JFK to Havana, if I'm not mistaken. Good progress!
