We are in the planning stages of a trip to Pearl this summer. Wondering if there were anybody at Pearl that can be compared to Africa at RM. As far as keeping your glass always full. If so does the same person work the beach and the pool. The best I remember Pearl does not have a beach bar, or does it?

The swim up bar in the pool backs onto the beach and serves the beach area from there.

When we were there in December there were two ladies doing drink service. One would look after the pool while the other handled the beach. They switched areas during our second week. The service is excellent... but I can't recall either of their names.

As an aside the same thing is basically true for the pool and beach chairs. There are three men who look after this (Viktor, Javier, and Jerrod). One does the beach. One starts early and one comes in later and stays until late afternoon. They each have a day off every week and they rotate times and responsibilities. If you are at the resort for a few days or even, perhaps, a week you might think that one lady does bar service at the pool and one person does pool chairs early in the morning but the next week it will different.

Thank you! I was surprised that I couldn't remember their names.

During one activity Ebe was introduced as the staff member who makes more money than the GM. She does a great job and has a terrific attitude.

Between Ebe and Fabiola, our drinks were always full, especially if we gave her a tip first thing in the morning... I personally blame Fabiola's excellent service for my 5 mojito a day habit We had a beach bed every day and never had to leave the bed to get a drink, but if we felt like a stroll, the beach-side of the pool bar service was great too!

Isn't that what they recommend for a healthy diet, five a day?!
