This will be our first time at Pearl. On a typical day, approximately what percentage of MEN are TOTALLY naked by the pool. What about the WOMEN, what percentage are just topless, and what percentage are totally naked by the pool.

Use the search function, many threads and polls on this topic! Depends on the crowd but I'd say that 80% of the guys (or more ) are nude by the pool and about the same of women being at least topless (some wear bottoms for one reason or another).

Agree that the majority of both female and male guests were totally naked at the pool, beach, or hot tub. Can only remember one woman who stayed completely covered the entire time she was there. Saw more women with just bottoms on at the pool than at the beach or hot tub but they were still a minority.

Most important comment to be made here is: Simply don't worry about it. Just go! And go with what is comfortable for YOU!

Yes almost all the guys are nude. That's just how guys are.
My wife prefers to wear her bikini bottoms 3/4 of the time.
I don't think she even takes a bikini top any longer.
Frankly, I think someone wearing a full swimming suit would end up feeling more uncomfortable and self-conscious than they would taking the plunge into the au naturel experience.

I'm bewildered why people would spend twice as much to go to Desire when they could go anywhere in the Caribbean and several places in the US where the woman can be topless and both wear bottoms. I get it if women wear bottoms during that time of the month or if it's your first time and want to take a day or so to ease into the total nude thing but I have seen several guys never take their trunks off the whole week. It kinda creepy to me if one or both keep their clothes on while we are all nude for more than a day or two. What I have never seen is once someone goes totally nude, go back to wearing clothes when they don't have to so my advise is to take the plung and never look back.

Definitely more than half are totally nude by the pool, both men and women, close to 100% nude at Jacuzzi. I can understand some ladies are keeping their bottoms on, but I can not understand either why some men are keeping the trunk at the pool. May be they did not read this forum before coming.

We have been to Pearl twice. The first visit had the majority of men and women put a bottom on to walk around the pool and take it off at their pool bed/chair. The second was completely different with mostly nude all the time. We've talked with a couple who were at Pearl during a take over and they stated that everyone from that particular group wore suits most of the time.

OK...we love Pearl and are not nudists. We are in the lifestyle, and go for the sexy Desire vibe. We walk to the pool/beach in bathing suits. It's good to have clothes on hand for going to restaurants and stuff. My wife is topless almost always at the pool and beach, with her bottoms on most of the time. She just feels more sanitary that way. I wear my bathing suit to the pool, take if off when I get in the water, a leave it on 50% of the time when I'm in the sun. For a simple reason. I don't want my junk sun burn. I never wear anything in the hot tub, because, well it's the hot tub. But...this is the most important part: NO ONE CARES WHAT WE ARE WEARING. NO ONE CARES WHAT YOU DO. That's the beauty of this place.

Completely true that everyone can do what they want including wearing bathing suits and no one will say anything or make you feel uncomfortable. The reason, I think that so many people comment on this forum about being nude by the pool and hot tub is that the overall Desire experience is more fun when more people participate. It's more fun if people participate in the games and events, it's more fun it people dress for the themes or dress sexy at dinner or in the disco, it's more fun if people are naked by the pool at hot tub.

If you want to wear a bathing suit during the day or dress in jeans and a t-shirt at night go for it. It's your vacation.

But for us, the overall Desire vibe is just more enjoyable when more people participate in the fun, sexy, erotic vibe of the resort.

We wear shorts/tops from our room to the beach or pool, and carry a backpack. When we get to where we're going, clothing comes off, and goes into the backpack. We dress back up when going to lunch saving a trip back to the room as a certain amount of clothing is required for lunch. Other than that, it's clothing "off."

at the pool and hot tub the vast majority will be nude.

At other places people tend to dress sexy.

Whether by the beach , by or in the pool , at the hot tub , in the playroom , in yours or someone else's hotel room , or just in your own shower everyone will be naked at some point during their vacation! So my answer is 100%.
The thing at Pearl, as we prepare to go back for trip 2 the first week of May (as non-newbies this time ) nobody cares who is or isn't naked. Because it is a couples resort it takes almost all of the creep factor out of it and people just do what they feel like without caring about others. Don't ever feel you have to be naked. But I didn't know how fun being naked was until I hit my first day pool side at pearl!
One thing we really like is the nakedness during the day and to the hot tub/ hot tub beds then the transformation to the hottest ever looks on women at the restaurants followed by the sexy wild theme night outfits. Which then leads to sometimes more nakedness!! As men we just follow the lead of the ladies.
It's a fun adventure and every week and every person is different. I'm naked man all day but slip on the swimsuit when playing beer pong or volleyball. My wife is a bottoms on around the pool and hot tub but we had some great naked times on the hot tub beds and elsewhere.
Your on vacation in couples paradise. Do whatever makes you happy and you feel comfortable doing!
My long answer leads me to believe I'm getting excited about our trip in less than a month.

The only time we dress is for Dinner and the first hour of Nightclub. We are naked the rest of the time.

We only wrap a towel for breakfast and lunch. And after an hour in the nightclub we strip cause it is so hot and then we dance naked the rest of the time.
