Guy's....im so confused. Please help. We had reservations for Feb. I woosed out. I got scared that i was going to be judged about my curvy body (lg ass and cellulite) i cancelled everything! My hubbs was dissapointed. We r NOT swingers...i make out with chicks thats about it, lmao... He is really wanting to go and honestly me too... Please help. I am seriously thinking about booking AGAIN... for mid may.. To suprise him...for real this time. What do u guys think. Please help me in my decision...xoxo

Us and the majority of forum members will tell you to rebook and enjoy yourselves. Read all you can on here, you will see ALL different body types at the Desire resorts. There are lots of people on here who are swingers and lots that are not. Lots that are nudists and lots that are not. No one will force you to do anything you don't want to do. Many who have had their misgivings about going to Desire Resorts (much like yours) have gone and enjoyed them selves and came back wondering what the heck they were worried about and are ready to book their next Desire vacation.

I'm a big guy, my wife is petite, we aren't swingers.

This will be our 4th trip in a few weeks. After the first trip (which she had reservations about) she asked when we were going back.

I have seen every size and shape and honestly, no one really cares. You will be judged less than if at a vanilla resort and wearing a suit.

I'd say go for it.

Absolutely nobody will care at all what you look like. I hate to be that frank, but there will be people bigger, older, younger, skinner, hotter and uglier than you there. The only person that cares what you look like is you. As long as you are not going to pick up another couple and swing, the only person you should care about their opinion is you and your husband. That being said, if you are going to go and be worried about it the whole time then I would say don't go. If you can say WTF, and just be happy with who you are, then by all means go.

Your concerns are the same as virtually all people have, both male and female to be honest. Browse this forum, especially the trip reports from newbies, and you will get a very good sense of the experience. I'd advise anyone who is even remotely interested to just go, and see if it's for them. If nothing else, you can look back and say "we tried it", but I would wager there are very, very few people who go once and decide they didn't like it.

We encourage you guys to take that leap of faith and don't look back. We have found Desire to be the most accepting and pleasurable resort we have every stayed at. The staff and guests are top notch. I honestly believe you will be shocked at how much fun you will have and will quickly book your return trip. Suprise you husband!

You will find friendly, accepting people no matter what your size is. We go to a vanilla resort just down the road, a whole week goes by and no one speaks to you whether you are drop dead gorgeous or butt ugly! At Desire everyone speaks and is friendly, makes your time there much more fun. Some have bathing suits on, some women just bottoms, and some naked. Some in the lifestyle and many not. I haven't seen or spoken to one person who wasn't completely comfortable at Desire. Make the reservation, you won't regret it.

Now that you've even considered going, you are always going to wonder and you are never going to get it out of your head. You might as well do it so you will finally know once and for all if you can do it (and you can BTW).

Well another great thing about being naked--NO MUFFIN TOP!!! Go for it. We'll be there May 24th through the 29th so feel free to say hi if that's when you end up booking and I promise we won't bite (well, only if you ask us to). We'll be the ones wearing only smiles. Oh wait, that's everybody!!!

Me, along with my cellulite and 20 extra pounds were welcome at Desire, and I was never made to feel uncomfortable. I didn't have the hottest bod there (heck, I was 51 at the time... so I'm good with how I look), but I also didn't have the worst bod. But, that's not what it's about. It's about being there for YOURSELF and for your partner. You are not there to please others... if they take pleasure in what they see, or not, that's on them. You are not responsible for others.

Go and enjoy.

I read nothing in the original post to suggest this. The concern is about the nudity not the sexual nature of the resort. The statement "i make out with chicks" makes me think you would enjoy Desire more than Hidden Beach.

Just book it.

We r very excited to be going..the husband just said a bit ago. "I am sooo reafy to go on our vacation!" we went with the Life is to f**king short concept...!!!! Wigs and slutty clothes should start arriving from the UPS man today, haha!
