Nothing when we were there. also had the chance to attend the RM foam party in the hot tub area, lots of fun. big tip, eye protection! I guess I went too crazy with the diving into the foam and my eyes paid the price! Blood shot for days and had a hard time getting them open the next morning. eye protection this year!

We wear swim goggles and it works great for protecting our eyes and allowing us to enjoy the party longer. Also, we bring tumblers with lids and put our drinks in them. Otherwise we end up with more bubbles and pool water than booze. Plus, It insures we have enough drink for a good time, cause it can be really difficult to get back to the pool bar for refills, what with the bubbles and bodies. But, having said that, half the fun is bumping through the bodies! :D XL

Yea that's what I thought, that it was still on Saturdays, but I thought someone had posted that it was moved to Tuesday. Flights don't get us into Cancun until 12:40, so with going thru Customs, getting our luggage, transportation & check-in, we would miss it.......Pete

We did the foam party at Temptations just under two weeks ago and then the foam party at Pearl on Saturday. There were a few differences.

First, there was way more volume of foam at Temptations. They had a much bigger unit producing the foam. At Pearl it only accumulated near the middle of the pool with the outer edges almost clear.

Second, I spent quite a bit of time in and under the foam at Temptations and it didn't bother my eyes at all. The foam at Pearl seemed to be much more... acrid. Even a small amount of exposure to it made my eyes sting. That was not the case when we were there in December however.

Having the Foam Party in the pool is a bad idea. They need to find another area to have it. Preferably on land, (at least your head would be above the foam). Between getting foam in your eyes and not being able to breath it's not very enjoyable. A friend of mine went to RM and they had it on land and he said it was awesome, but now they also have them in the pool. I've noticed at Pearl that most people do not even participate in the Foam Party.

We were at Pearl in October and everyone participated in the foam party! It was a blast. No issues with the eyes and I wear contacts. Almost everyone was completely nude. I was on my husband's shoulders and so were many other women. Jello shots and great sexy party! 16 days and counting!!!

That has not been my experience in the 3 I've attended in the pool at Pearl. The foam was packed with fun, naked people the whole time, we didn't have any problems with our eyes, and it's easy to move in and out of the thickest parts if you choose to.

The foam party is fun but man o man does the soap burn your eyes. Goggles would be a good idea. I'll bring them when we return in October. As for clothing, I was naked but the wife had her top and bottom on. What ever makes u comfortable. No one cares. However most are at least topless. BTW, during our foam party I received a free testicular exam from some woman claiming to be a physician. :L

Last year had a great time at the foam party! Everyone (?) nekkid and acting like kids :D Wife had a wide brim hat on and sunglasses. Nooo issues. I made the mistake of going under water and opening eyes for a rinse. Do not follow my lead - took a while to get past the irritation :? A not to be missed experience

We both had sunglasses on and had no issues with the soap. My wife's eye get irritated easily too.

Foam Party = Fun...no issues with eye burning. Got everyone lose. It was only about an hour and a half, but it got everyone in spirit for the rest of the day...sorry, we just can't find anything negative to say about our Desire experiences...

Just a little update. We timed our arrival/departure so we would be at 2 foam parties at the Pearl last month. 20-25 people came over from DRM both Saturdays. The staff put in a dozen beach balls and other assorted things that float and they were all tossed around by the people having fun in the foam. The foam wasn't stinging the eyes and the new foam generator can be aimed by the operator so he can have fun targeting people in the pool.

And I like the way the staff remind the guests that no sex is allowed in the pool but "we can't see what is going on because of the foam, so we have to trust you to behave". Wink Wink.

Not everyone spends the full 2 hours in the foam. People take breaks, sit at the bar, watch from the lounges, dance to the music, re-enter when they feel energized. It is a blast. Don't miss the experience.
