How is the weather? TWC is showing 80% of rain(t-storms) the next 10 days. Its down to 50% when we arrive on the 15th.

Let's hope they're wrong. They called for clouds and rain all this week but it sunny there now.

We arrive TOMORROW so bring on the sun!

Don't be too concerned about the weather forecast. We have been to Pearl in June the last two years and they had predicted rain and thunderstorms for the week. Both times the weather was clear and hot.

We were there this week last year, and it pretty much rained or was cloudy the entire week - some serious torrential rain, wind driven to the point of not being able to sit out on our balcony. Got drenched walking from our room to Aphrodite - umbrella was useless.

There were a few hours here and there with sun, but honestly, it was the worst weather week I've ever experienced in all my vacations to Mexico and the Caribbean. Sorry to be such a downer, but they do call this time of year rainy season for good reason. We won't be returning this time of year, that's for sure.

The weather has been beautiful so far! One small shower yesterday but was quick.

We just got back, had some showers and an afternoon of rain but have to say that it was the most humid we have ever spent in Mexico.

Sounds good! This week is supposed to be worse than next week. Last years weather made Pearl disappointing and that is hard to do.

It would have to be pretty bad to be worse than the UK any month of the year!

We were at Rm last September and had one day of constant downpour. Most couples hid, but we and two other couples spent the day in the Jacuzzi, covering our drinks to prevent dilution, and had a ball. We'll be there in three weeks, and if it rains, we will be the ones running around in the rain and/or organizing indoor games. It can interfere with tan time, but a tan is not the main reason we go to Desire.
