male attire theme nights

My boyfriend and I will be arriving mid july. For the women the attire is pretty easy to figure out. But for my man its more difficult. We are first timers at Pearl. Do men participate in the theme nights? If they do needs some ideas...if not what do they wear?? We are a week out and want to make sure we are ready.
Thanks !

Well done Mike & Max, good question.
I have also been struggling with this. Trying to get the balance right between being on theme and not looking like I should be certified insane!
Not sure if many guys find this easy or not. I have one set that seems a pretty good match to Marcia's red and black outfit but so far all of the remaining 8 nights we have there are an open question.
Perhaps somebody with more experience can help us both! I believe there is a store on site that will rent costumes, can anyone confirm that? Do they stock stuff for guys?
Our first time too by the way. Taking small steps into the experience. Hopefully meet up with you and the others.
Steve and Marcia

We are not experts, have been to Desire twice, but my experience (the male) was that the themes where you could wear kind of normal clothes worked and the anything but clothes we tried to make happen for both of us. My advice is do what you want and don't obsess with coming up with a costume. Do what's comfortable and fun. But your right in that the women are generally more into it and costume themes are more oriented towards them. Look forward to seeing you.

As a 'veteran' don't stress! If it's your first time and you're unsure, just 'nod' towards the theme if you're comfortable, a colour, an accessory....but if you're a bit of an extrovert/ not bothered what others think, go for it! Full on theme, sexy, skimpy, funny (guys really rock the funny/ sexy combo!). You'll get noticed, commented on, pulled into silly games, meet a whole load of new people who will ALL remember you the next day......bottom line is, it's your holiday, do what makes you happy!

These guys get their costume on too!
Our policy is this: if the theme speaks to us, then we'll get dressed up for it; if not, we'll just dress as sexy as we feel like.
I (Mr.) dressed up for 5 of our six nights last year; had the kilt for "costume ball" night; for the "cowboy" night I had Daryl Dixon's vest, for ... can't remember what night I did a nice black tee (maybe that was "biker" night - can't remember that night all that well

), for neon night neon blue shirt and matching boxers, and for the Black and White Celebration I had the white shirt, black pants and bow tie.
For the first trip other than neon night we didn't really dress up much (she wasn't sure that she was comfortable). We'd recommend maybe picking one night for the first time and buy some outfits for it - if you get there and don't feel comfortable you don't have to wear them, but at least you've got the option!

We can tell you that based on our first time experience last year, hardy any guys participated. Last year, "D" participated by wearing something that accented "C's" outfit. "D" found some outfits on
http://www.spicylingerie.com that would fit "C's" outfit, i.e. sheer boxers and fishnet boxers. "D" will again be dressing the part, so your guy will not be alone in dressing the part. More than likely, you will never see any of the guests again. Let loose and have a great time. If you guys plan to be nude at the pool, why be bashful at the disco? If he finds that he is uncomfortable dressing up, he will not be alone. However, "C" is challenging all guys going during our time frame to play the part. Since we will be there during your stay, your guy is one of them.

We were there two years ago and also experienced very few guys participating. In fact, on our first night, I (man) actually wore black fishnets under my shorts to the disco with wife wearing black minidress, heels, no undies. As it turned out, none of the men dressed for the theme, so I chickened out. Perhaps, like me, other males were waiting for someone else to "break the ice". Maybe on our next trip, I'll just go for it.

Not many guys dress for the themes, but I feel like I can say with certainty that the ones that do have the most fun.
I dressed every night, and got plenty of attention because of it. Personally, I don't understand why a guy would go to a place like Desire and be naked and sexually charged all day... Only to put on pants and closed toes shoes with a collared shirt when the sun goes down. HUH??? It just makes no sense to me. IMO.
Each night I had some sort of prop with me that made the rounds around the Disco. The first night I brought a flogger. When the drinks started flowing, people kept coming up wanting to borrow it to go use it on somebody. Since that worked so well the first night, I brought a riding crop the second night. Same deal. Brought a paddle on the third, etc...
I was never the only one dressed up. There was always at least 5 or 6 of us. But even if I was the only one, I wouldn't have cared. My wife likes seeing me dressed like that as much as I like seeing her. She can see me in "business casual" anytime.

I can't guarantee i will dress for the theme every night but I'm certainly going to work at stepping outside my comfort zone and attempt it! keep pushing boundaries...........

We're ready for theme nights. Both the wife and I have outfits for each night, not much for "dare to bare". We've been to Hedo and participated all theme nights. 1st time to Desire Pearl, we're vouyers, exhibitionit's nudists with high sexualidad charge, but not swingers. Any couples to meet would be great.

This will be our first time to anything like this. Wife has every night covered, or uncovered as case may be, and I plan on most nights to come up with something too.
