Pearl at 100% - A Few Questions

We'll be at Pearl 8/11-16. First timers. Took a look this morning, and the resort is sold out which we perceive to be a good thing! Raises a few questions though and we'd appreciate any Pearl veterans weighing in on the following, given a full house:
1) Will we need to be circling the pool at the break of dawn to tip the staff to reserve lounges for us?
2) What sort of wait times are typical to be seated for dinner at Pearl? Can we make reservations there?
3) What else is good to know / consider given Pearl in a sold out environment?
Just looking to glean a bit of wisdom to improve our first foray at Pearl. Thanks!

We visited during a sell out and can advise you as follows:
Speak to the pool attendant the day BEFORE to have them reserve seats in the am for the party side. The quiet side is usually never an issue.
Pearl could get crowded, so best to get there by 7pm on busy days.
Sold out days are GREAT-- The resort is full of people. Do not stress it, just have fun !!!!

Zero stress. Just looking for tips to smooth out any wrinkles. Appreciate your feedback.
Can't wait. Can only imagine a full crowd makes it all the more fun.

Your right a full crowd is fun, remember it's a small resort 88 rooms even sold out its not a big deal. You have a huge pool, huge jacuzzi, three restaurants and people eating from 6pm to 9. We've seen it sold out plus 30 plus couples from RM and Temptations, it was crazy!!

Wow! That must have been over-the-top!
When it's that crowded, are they any more lenient about where PDS is permitted? We've got a fear of excessive wait times for jacuzzi beds. Wonder if that's a recognized phobia?

We're arriving 8/1 and were at DP same time last year. 100% full and the SY&W thing going on. Never a wait at a restaurant or for a chaise under a beach palapa (our preferred). Really was never an issue

Excellent! So, how was SY&W last year? Must have been a good time if you're going back for another dose. Do tell.

It just may be, with the cure to ask if someone will share their jacuzzi bed...win-win!

Right on, to all the above comments. We were just at Pearl during a full house and what a blast.
Agree: check with the pool/beach attendants Javier and Vicktor. They can assist you in getting your loungers for the stay. It may take a day or so to get closer to the location you like best, but they are very creative and helpful and respond well to courteous treatment.
Agree: if you don't want any wait time at the Pearl Restaurant, sit by 7:30 pm. Also, dine with other couples for more utilization of the tables, and more fun. We've never had a wait at Aphrodite and love to sit looking out over the ocean, with great service and excellent food. If you want to eat at Jade Restaurant upstairs, make your reservations as soon as you arrive, because it is only open certain nights and fills quickly.
Agree: the Jacuzzi is big at Pearl and there is always room. Plus, the raised circles in the hot tub are quite fun for some lively OS.
Agree: if the beds are being used, ask to share, let others know you are waiting, etc. We never had a problem in July. (Once we moved some stuff that had been left on an unoccupied bed and when done, immediately vacated the bed for the next couple(s). You kind of have to play it by ear, but you'll get the hang of it. It is kind of like navigating a "round-a-bout". You just have to figure out the flow)
Note: I haven't heard that the rules on PDS/PDA have been loosened for WILD and SEXY month. Perhaps someone can comment on this. In January, for Int'l Swingers month, they did allow PDA at the pool area, but I don't know if they plan to do that again.
Full is Fun. Enjoy!
