We had read a number of review about Couple Massages offered on and off resort. We booked with Claudia before arriving. When we got to the resort the concierge was telling us about what was offered. During this time we were offered $150 off of a couples massage on resort if we attended a membership presentation. We had no desire to do this. Our goal was to enjoy our time and not spend it on this. We said we had already booked with Claudia. We were told by the concierge that Claudia started out here but left is now on her own. We didn't think much about this until our appointment with Claudia. She asked where we were staying and I told her the Pearl. I mentioned that we had been told she once worked there. She said absolutely not. We were informed that she had never worked for the resort and that she had been told that by many people. She also said that she had been told that when people had asked the resort about trying to book with her they were told she was busy or they couldn't get in touch with her. This was also wrong. If you want to book with Claudia you need to contact her via her email or website.
Our experience with Claudia was phenomenal. It was a complete awakening of your senses. She not only gives you a massage but has your partner join and teaches them how to give you a massage when you return home. I couldn't say enough great things about her. Just try an appointment for yourself to see the difference in a couples massage and a Claudia massage.

I agree with you. Claudia's massage is different than DP massage. Both worth the money, but you must try Claudia's at least once in your life.
I understand she used to work at the now closed Caribbean Reef Club in the first years of 21st Century. When we've stayed there, in 2003, she wasn't working there and was living in Houston area.

We are also CRC alumni.

FYI - Claudia didn't work at or for CRC, but she did have permission to come onto the property to provide guests with massages. Desire(having their own Spa services) would not allow her access to their property, which is why she set up a studio location in Puerto Morelos.

We have an appointment with her next week when we are there- very much looking forward to the whole experience. Nick (and the stressed out Kitty)tm

We'd like to add our endorsement of Claudia. Not only was our session super relaxing and hot, even more importantly she gave us a lot of great tips for how to massage each other. Pretzel and I have a massage table in our room, it's an important part of how we care for each other. For those, too, who are into massage, note that her technique is to first warm her hands by rubbing them together. Next she applies a dose of Baby Oil Gel, and then lastly she gives a spray or two of Coconut Oil. She also taught me a great stroking method using two cupped hands with the thumbs criss-crossed.

Claudia is a wonderful soul. We'll be sure to visit her every time we come to Pearl.

For the couples that doesn't know anything about me and have met Dr. Jess, you can ask her about me and my work and how professional I am in what I do.
If there could be three words that discribes my work will be LOVE, PASSION and RESPECT.
What I do and offer you is a complete different thing and experience of what you are gonna have at the resort.
As an example all the tours that cancun offers everybody...all of them are different...all are very good! Depends on what you are looking for, that's how you are gonna enjoy your time during your stay.
With all my heart I receive each one of you, so whenever you want to come and try my workshop and massage you will be more than welcome.
