Hello everyone! My wife and myself CAN NOT WAIT to arrive for our first trip to Desire Pearl. After much research, we made our decision and it was a no brainer..DP! This will be our first time at a clothing optional resort. After 33 years in the fire service I am retiring at the end of October and can not think of a better way to celebrate. Both of us have been previously married and were not in "the best of situations". I am 55, she is in her mid 40's (looks more like 30). We dated 28 years ago, she dumped me (LOL!). We went our separate ways, both got married, she had a beautiful daughter, I was childless. After both deciding to end our marriages we happened to meet up again while I was on duty and the rest is history. The statement is used way to much but it really hits home with me, I married my sole mate. This woman is the best thing that has ever happened to me. She is absolutely beautiful inside and out, with the inside being the most important part. We are active, healthy and full of life, loving everything from wine and music, paddleboarding, to taking drives in our classic cars. "Life is good" is not just a saying to us, it is a way of life! She bought me a subscription to playboy a few years ago, that with playboy tv ( shows like Sexscape) have really opened up our eyes to growing our sensual life. We are very passionate and venturing into clothing optional has been long overdue.

Enough about us, We are arriving in the beginning of November for 8 days. At first we were a little tentative on how far we would go. We would have days when we would be very confident to days filled with trepidation. I am happy to say that we are now without hesitation and just cant wait to get there! We haven't even arrived yet and are already planning on many return trips! Yup, hooked. Here are some questions:

- How dressed up/exposed are people at the disco theme nights? How revealing are the woman, and the men? (She has already started shopping!)

- What is the best way to go about reserving a outside bed for our stay? We hear they are not enough to go around.

- A little confused about where you can show some tasteful PDS on the facility or holding my wife in certain ways. Initially it sounded like just the jacuzzi and the play room, but some of the posts made it sound like other areas as well as long as it was "discrete?

- Finally, anything we should know about but have not asked.

We are so very excited. We are not swingers, but would love to talk to people who are in the life style. We are looking forward to pushing our boundaries some and letting loose and enjoying life with fantastic conversations, new friends, and memories never to be forgotten. We picked DP because it sounded like it is a totally class operation based on respect and good times. November can not come soon enough. Cheers!!

As for your questions;

Ladies in the disco can get as daring as they could ever want to be. There are lots of posts here with some sample outfits. There is virtually no possibility of her being too exposed. But, she doesn't have to be. The general suggestion is - take something you might consider wearing and then take something you would never wear. She will wear that thing the second night.

Get up early, tip the bed guy, hope that members haven't already taken all of them.

Officially just the jacuzzi and playroom for PDS but they kind of encourage it a bit during the foam party in the pool. Body shots on the pool bar seems to be okay (based on my wife's experience...) but I think that's about the extent of it. What is "holding my wife in certain ways"? Just blurt it out - we can handle it.

I think most things have already been asked so pour over the past posts. Use the search for topics you have questions about. Don't over think things. Relax and have fun.

TandD, thanks for the reply. Very helpful info. With regards to holding my wife, that would be holding her woman bits . Any other comments would be greatly appreciated. I am sure she will have more questions too.

22truckie, we arrive at Pearl a couple days after you do. If your first 48 hours doesn't answer all your questions (and/or exceed all your expectations), we are happy to meet you for drinks in the Jacuzzi on the 5th to discuss. First round is on us!!

On duty today, but had to sneak a peak to see if we had any more responses. SoNotFun, your on!! We'll be the ones without any cloths on LOL! BTW what is with your log on name, SoNotFun?? Really??? We'll see about that! Would love to talk with you guys. Have I said we are soooooo very excited to get there. This place is addicting and we haven't even been there yet. Yikes!

Congratulations on your retirement. I'm sure all the people in the city where you work will be hugely grateful for your 33 years as a fire fighter. I know they would where we live.

You'll both have a great time at Pearl - pity we shall just have left before you arrive, we would love to have met you. Just to add to what TandD said:

Your wife can wear the shortest, most see-through outfits she can find for the theme nights. A lot of ladies wear clothes that are very revealing! But if she fancies something less revealing that is absolutely fine and no one will judge or comment. The same goes for the men but, sadly, few dress up for the theme nights and even less dress in anything revealing. Remember you'll both have been totally naked all day, you won't be showing anything new....

The first day you arrive see Victor or Jared who are the really hard-working chaps that sort the beach and pool beds. They always sort the beds for our entire stay - we prefer the palapas (beds under the thatched sun shades) on the beach. It's only the big double beds on the beach that are reserved, and they are reserved for people who are in the passion suites. Or you can get beds by the pool. We always show our appreciation of their hard work the day we arrive.

The resort doesn't allow PDS on the beach because of walkers-by. You sign when you arrive to say you won't do this, or have sex by the pool. Almost all PDS is in the Jacuzzi and on the Jacuzzi beds, plus in the playroom. I've done body shots on the pool bar, and had chocolate licked off my "woman bits" by the pool during games, and we've done the sex position game, but I wouldn't call that PDS. There's plenty of opportunity for PDS for 12 hours from around 3pm at the Jacuzzi and in the playroom after about 10:30pm!

Thanks for the advice. Everyone has been very helpful. Our questions on the women dressing up for the disco has been answered, but still a little cloudy on the men?? Examples??? I am still in very good shape (refuse to get older), have to be to keep up with the younger wife LOL!, but not sure how far to go?? Sexy shorts in satin or leather?? Wife has picked out some, just covering the "boys" string things but would actually feel better with the sexy shorts/ pants and no shirt?? or nothing at all Do guys go shirtless in there?? In other words, need more info for the guys stuff. Opinons??? She will be an absolute knock out! A proud man for more than one reason

Some guys just wear the outfits they wore to dinner, some go really extravagant (rarely, but it happens), and there are usually 5-10 men (myself included) that try to get into the themeware. I've gone in all mesh tank/bottoms, just tight or lace shorts and a stylish hat, as little clothing as you like is fine. This last time we saw a lot more people wearing t-shirts and cargo shorts or jeans, which is disappointing. I am wearing as little as possible so I'm not AS sweaty during dancing!

Totally agree with Houston-Couple. I have the same attitude when we go. Mesh, thongs, lace, nothing is off limits. The attention from the ladies is usually over the top !! More men need to step up and join in the fun.

LOL Good luck! It took us less than 30 seconds. My plan was to strip down in the lobby if they tried to rope us in to the sales pitch when we first got there. You are going to love it there.

We were there for 2 weeks and saw what a fluid place it really is. The crowd changes quite often, thus the participation in the theme nights change. My best advice is to do what YOU are comfortable doing and don't worry about what anyone else is doing/wearing. We saw everything from very conservative to wild abandon. It truly is a place where you can just BE....whatever it is.

My next best advice is to find the Canadians and the Brits!!! They totally rock!!

My husband is planning to dress to the themes when we go in October. He's bought some very tight, see through shorts and some tiny pouches that he just about fits into Our ABC outfits aren't exactly modest either... But like others have said, go with what you're comfortable with. Most guys don't dress up , so if you choose not to, you won't be alone. For us, choosing theme wear (and fooling around in it before we go ) is a big part of the excitement build up before going to Desire. But if you plan to be the fastest naked newbies I don't think you'll be concerned about wearing not too much at night! Like JAG&Kitten said, look out for us Brits!

Keep the Jacuzzi hot for us! Not much of the outfits to see - all very short and extremely see through
