Day-umm! Looks nice.

Let's see;

New pool wall and heating the water in the winter.
Enclosed lobby with A/C
New lobby with marble floors and fancy design.

Man, they are going to be pushing the Memberships HARD to pay for all this!

Looking forward to seeing it next March!

Well, yeah, plus the most favorable exchange rate since they collect in USD!

T&D....looks like we'll see it a couple weeks before you since we're there with the cool kids in early March. LOL

Excuse me but you must have misread my note in the March sub - the cool kids are going in *late* March. You early Marchers just need to try and not spill anything on the new floors.

We'll be there in December to see it for ourselves. Although it looks beautiful in the photos, we liked the warm, cozy feel we got with the 'old' lobby.

Agreed, the old lobby had a very warm Caribbean feel that we appreciated every time we arrived. I hope the new lobby plus aircon doesn't make it feel like any other hotel round the world!

We're going to Pearl next week - looks like the lobby area will be a building site for a while. But I'm sure this won't stop us having a great time, as always .

Pearl does everything with such class that we are sure that the finished lobby project will be amazing! We applaud the addition of A/C, especially for the heat of the day hours. I understand that Pearl will likely open the sliding glass doors at night for entertainment purposes if the temperature has cooled. Now, all we need to hope for is the disappearance of the nasty seaweed! Cheers and we hope to see and enjoy many of you on our next outing to Pearl on June 10-19th!

Funny, I said almost the exact thing to my wife. For me, looks very "sterile" from the pics. However, from what I've been reading and hope for, am confident that all will be great when completed!

Aphrodite seemed sterile from the pics too,but look, that turned out to be very nice.i agree,it will be great when all said and done.

Any pictures of the new lobby or is it not completed yet?

what they really need to do is make the other part that they have not used from Celba Del Mar into a Pearl Lobby , and make the current Lobby a better Disco and outside Dancing Area Like RM has that would be good
