Room Category Differences

Wanting to book our July 4th trip to Pearl (we had a fantastic time this past July 4th) & trying to decide on the room choice - this past year we just had the usual ocean view room which was great, but thought about moving up to a Junior Suite. In reading the room description on the resort's website, we really can't see much difference in the two & were wondering if some of you more experience folks could help us out - the price difference for the dates we are looking at comes out to about $500 for the 8 night stay, & we are wondering if it is worth it. Any help is appreciated.

We personally like the space the Junior Room provides. With that said, the Standard Room is nice as well. We have never been in a Master or Penthouse Suite. My thought is, if you plan to have guests, the bigger the better.
I honestly don't think you can go wrong with most of the rooms/locations. Maybe someone on this forum can comment on rooms that are less desirable (no pun intended) location wise.

Our personal favourite room category is the master suite. The second washroom with its own shower shortens the time spent in the room getting prepared for the next activity. The separate living area, second balcony, kitchen area and storage space every where are bonuses.
The penthouse units are nice, especially if you want to host a party on the balcony. The large, private hot tub is great for those late night activities. And the staff at the Pearl will supply drinks and snacks, and waiters if you so desire. But, there is a shortage of closest space and it is in the washroom area so humidity does become an issue. Can not beat the views. The first 4 penthouses overlooking the Jacuzzi can be subjected to substantial noise in the late evening depending on the people in and around the Jacuzzi. Also, precious little shade on the balcony when the afternoon sun is blazing down.
We have never stayed in a unit with a plunge pool but do know couples who like that option. We would rather join a party at the Jacuzzi.
Junior suite and Ocean view are still great rooms and we like how you can request rooms with the early check in. We tend to gravitate towards the quiet end of the pool. We consider the walk along the pool part of our exercise program. Back to your original question, yes we would upgrade to the Junior Suite. But really, if all you are doing is using the room for sleeping and getting ready to go out, not entertaining, then Ocean View is more than adequate.

Does the master suite come with Butler service or do you need to be in a Penthouse?

Jerry, Carlos, Hector are all willing to assist in any little Desire you have when in a Master Suite. I assume. We are members and maybe that makes a difference for butler service.
