Your own champagne bottles

We're going to spend three days at DP for celebrating my birthday in a couple of weeks. We like to drink champagne with the dinner, but I really don't like to pay the extra fee. Do they make a charge for serving our own bottles or they do it for free?

Gaviao, I know many bring their own wine bottles so champagne shouldn't be any different. I remember early on someone mentioning a corkage fee but honestly I've never heard of them charging anyone. You might want to check with Alessio or anyone at the resort for confirmation. I know you are somewhat of a regular so it shouldn't be an issue.

Congrats and enjoy your next visit for your birthday!

For hubbys birthday 2 years ago Fernando brought us a "premium bottle" for no additional charge. I really liked it and hubby appreciated the gesture. Hubby was also a little passed tipsy the night before and probably tipped a bit much but hey I like to think they would do it for anyone.

House champagne is included in the AI; you can buy other stuff off of their premium menu, but I wouldn't. I think the house champagne is fine.

I'm 99% sure that there is never corkage at Desire. They don't look to make money on your bar tab- bringing your own is just one expense they don't have to pay, since your drinks are already paid for.
