I know the penthouse suites are on the top floor (doh!). I am curious though. Are they on the 2nd or 3rd floor or even higher?

One more question, the penthouse seems to have a nice terrace outside. Is there a bed out there? It is hard to tell from thje pictures on the web site.

Thanks in advance!

They are all the way up on the 4th floor, you'll get your daily exercise - lol

I know there are at least two buildings that are only 3 floors, so it makes the penthouse on the third. They're the most popular because of the climb. I know one is the first building by restaurant other is seahorse building by volleyball net. As far as beds believe it's like a futon.

We have stayed in Penthouse 29 twice - on the fourth floor, so thats a daily exercise - but we haven't found it to be a problem.

There is a really big and nice terrace with a plunge pool - in Penthouse 29 there is two sun beds and a dining table with 4 chairs on the terrace. Thats about it.

I can really recommend the penthouse. Lots of space, nice views and room to entertain. We have made great use of the plunge pool :D

There is only one problem with the penthouse, once you stay there, you will never want another room again.

You aren't lying. We just booked our second trip for this May, and almost literally my finger wouldn't click on any other room category. :? So Penthouse, here we come again!

But I do have to say... The one thing we found was that having the Penthouse kept us from meeting as many people as we normally might. Reason being, that terrace is just way too great. The pool, the sun, the beds, the view from pent 29 over the jacuzzi... We spent a lot of time on that terrace, which was awesome, but also kept us fairly sheilded from people a good bit of the time.

We've made it a point that on this trip we're going to do what we can to find a happy medium between the terrace and being social. We sure wouldn't mind having people up (we actually had a party on our last trip), but just walking into the jacuzzi and announcing our room number feels a bit much.

Invite others up for a "Party" if ya know what I mean. Many ways to use that terrace and the other areas in the penthouse

We prefer the first floor rooms with outdoor jacuzzi/plunge pool. Wife appreciates not going up and down all those stairs in heels or boots especially while tisy. Always more fun to cram 6 to 8 people into one of those at 3 or 4am

We have stayed twice at pearl and were curious about it. If we went with another couple could the suite house two couples? Or is it a single couple type occupancy? We all seem to end up in the same room every night anyway...

Single couple. There's one king bed. There are two couches, but they're not fold out, and they're in opposite ends of the suite, two rooms away. At least they were with my layout. I'm guessing most are the same way.

Besides, they are going to charge you each a per couple rate even if you decided to stay in one room - lol !
