We are traveling to Pearl in April, for our forth visit. We love everything about Pearl, except for the house wine that is served with dinners (we are not wine snobs, but like a good glass or two with dinner). Has anyone every brought their own wine with them to have with dinner? Is the resort OK with it?

I had to chuckle, I was just skimming topics and at first I thought the title was "Bringing my Own Wife.". Lol
But yes, we met a couple a few trips back that brought 2 bottles of their own wine.

Yes. We always bring a few bottles. Hey, when you're drinking your own you're not drinking theirs so why would they object?

Has anyone else ever been hit with a corkage fee when you bring your bottle to dinner at Pearl? They got us twice on our very first trip.

In September we took 3 bottles and never got hit with a corkage fee.

Same with November. We brought a couple of bottles and no corkage fees. We plan on doing the same in a month.

4 trips to Pearl, and we always bring our own wine... never paid a fee.

Maybe they were just picking on the newbies during our first trip. It's not going to stop us from bringing another bottle this year. Cheers!

Last Novermber, we brought our favorite Möet Chandon champagne bottle for a dinner. No corkage fee; I took it 2 hours prior to the dinner, so the bottle was chilled when we arrived to the restaurant.
