Does anyone happen to have photos of what the Master Suites look like with the plunge pools? I'm trying to compare this with the Penthouse ($$$) and pick a room for our trip. I found a photo of the bedroom online, but it doesn't show the living room or pool at all. Any photos you have would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Couple of things to keep in mind. Penthouse=steps, master suite with plunge pool will always be ground floor..

We have seen 2 different layouts of the master suite, the room itself we like #9 since it does not have any steps in the room but it is in the back of the resort and your view is of the lobby and one of the main walk ways there is not even vegetation to have privacy from the people (mostly staff) walking by. We are not into the life style so we go for the erotic environment, beach/pool and the service. If we would have had room 9 the first trip my better half would not have agreed to go back much less become members. Even though the walk to the pool and beach is short, we spend a few hours a day on the patio and would have down graded rooms to get a view if one of the other master suites with plunge pool would not have opened up. There are 5 rooms of this category, 2 of them are on the beach, 1 looks like it over looks the Jacuzzi and the last 2 are in the back of the resort.. There are 2 other rooms with a plunge pool, but they are not master suites and do not think they are listed as a separate category,

If you want a over the top time and do not mind the steps go for the penthouse, otherwise if view is important go for one of the other rooms and then see what is available to upgrade to when you get there.

Another point...

Since the plunge pool master suites are on the ground floor, if mosquitos are bad it could make for some uncomfortable times.

With a Penthouse, you're 3 or 4 floors up, and likely wouldn't have to worry about mosquitos.

The resort seems to do well to control mosquito issues, but there are times when it's a real issue there.

We had a Penthouse on our last trip and couldn't bring ourselves to book anything lower for our trip next month. Worry about bugs was part of why.
