Aug Question

We have some friends who are trying to book Aug 4-9. The Pearl site says sold out. Just wondering if anyone knows any tricks? I know sometimes travel agents buy up some rooms in advance and still have them available. Anyone know if they exist? Thanks!

I don't know if any travel agents will have access at this point. I think desire company itself has pulled the availability for booking rooms through outside vacation sites etc.. since temptation resort closed for the year and now they are working on rebooking many of the temptation guests at some desire hotels. I belive the only way to get a desire room currently is through Desire directly. That's what I had to do for October.

FYI - guests at Temptation that had previous bookings that would have occurred during the shutdown/renovation period are all being offered to move to the Grand Oasis Sens in the Cancun Hotel zone or request a refund - none of them are being offered to relocate to either Desire Property(that includes members as well).

Have them get on the direct Desire booking Waitlist for those dates - it's worth a shot !

The wait list is a good approach - apparently people switch around their reservations all the time. We did wait list once and a room came available the next day. Good luck!
