Just came back from our first trip to DP and we have lots to say for our trip report...but want to get THIS info out there right now!

PEOPLE: schedule the erotic photo session!! The session is FREE and there are many $$$ packages to choose from, but also keep in mind that each a-la-cart digital image is only $18.

Sign up as SOON as you check in and be sure to give yourself enough time to review them afterwards. You will probably have to ASK when you check in...they are focused on telling you about the other hotel amenities and left this out. Schedule it for at least a day after you get there so you can be sure to be comfortable being nude! (very true for us since we were complete newbies to anything like this). It will take 1 to 3 hours, depending on what you want.

The photo shoot itself is FREE! Of course there is an expectation that you WILL buy some (and they will be good so you will want to!), but if you don’t take the photos you will never know.

Our session was booked with Jahel and she was amazing. REMEMBER, each a-la-cart digital image is ONLY $18. She provides them on a CD/DVD. We ended up buying 6 photos (only $108!)

Some critical info: she will “guide” you to have actual sex and will take some seriously CLOSE photos. You have to choose what you are comfortable with and she very easily goes in whichever direction you want. We cut the “sex” part short and wanted photos on the beach instead. She was kind and amenable to anything we said, and while yes, you WILL feel awkward, it’s not because of her. It’s just a weird position to be in. She typically shoots photos in your room, the beach and the disco.

We didn’t plan on doing the photo shoot so didn’t have “outfits” per se...but we managed to make it work.

We would definitely do it again and would think a little more about what we wanted. We were too driven by what she typically does because we had no idea, so we expect to spend MORE money next time when we can drive the scenario a little more, ha ha!

Let us know if you have any questions...but we were very happy with how lovely the photos turned out for so little planning!

We have 18 more days until our trip to Pearl and plan on doing the photo shoot. Any suggestions about wardrobe, other location for photos and was your husband in any or all of the pic's.

We plan on doing the photo shoot when we get there on the 14th. Heard great things about it! We could also use some suggestions on what to wear, locations, etc.

You should post some pics as proof and motivation.

Going back for trip #2 in August. We want to do the photos, just have NO IDEA what we will do with them once we purchase them! It's not like you can display them over the mantle. P did boudoir photos a couple of years ago and they are beautiful, but they stay in a drawer.

So, question: What do you do with the photos when you get home? We really want to do the couple photos as everyone recommends them...but what do you do with them after you purchase?

I am thinking maybe use them as Facebook Profile pictures?

Actually we were just discussing this very subject ourselves - what would we do with the pics. I have seen some of these type pics used in photo libraries on Kasidie and SDC. But short of that, we have no idea either.

We put ours on a file on our smart tv in our bedroom and use them as a scrolling screen saver at our house and we put them on a digital picture frame at our cottage again in a specific folder - many new smart tv's will let you set up a screen saver mode and you can select which folder to play from - you just have to be sure to put it back to "vanilla" when you've got company or the kids are around - but it does make for a fun bg when you know you're on your own.

We also put all our photos like these on a flash drive in our safe - don't want to loose these memories - besides, we've both said that when we're in the home, we're going to put them on our bedside tables in frames - at that point, you've earned the right to display!

We had a book made from our photo session two years ago. While it certainly cannot be displayed on the mantle , it's amazing how many times we have brought it out together to remember our time at Desire. It brings us right back! We would HIGHLY recommend having it done!

We have a button that when all the kids are away and no guest, when we push it, all our "ADULT" themed goodies come out. Pictures turn around to display our couple shots from desire our ones we've take ourselves, swing comes down from the ceiling, sex toys display on the table. LOL!, Some real 50 shades stuff.

Joking, we wish.

I like the idea of the pictures on a smart tv under a specific file name that you can turn on during those special date nights! We are going to give that a try and I'm going to get a button one day.

We just returned from Pearl and also had the photo shoot. We ended up buying 37 pictures. Some are obviously not for the mantle, but you'll find that many of the beach shots would make great large canvas/glass images in any location in the home.

We both appeared in the images but the focus was on my wife. Shots were taken in the room, the disco and the beach.

We booked the shoot soon as we got there in May. The lady photographer (I forgot her name) was excellent. Totally ran the show and made sure R felt 100% comfortable and sexy. A skilled and sensitive pro. We started in the room, went to the end of the pier then the beach.

Once we saw the images we went 4X over our planned budget of $125 and never regretted it for a second! Just too many photos we couldn't let go to the virtual trash can!

There was never any pressure to buy more images and I think I got a really great exchange rate using my card.

I keep the pics on my phone to sneak a peek of R when we're not together.

We wanted to share about one of last trip's most incredible experiences: our photo shoot. As some of you are new to Desire and have heard about it, but wondered what it entails... read on.

We had seen other couples shooting and it looked sexy and fun. The photo office on site had beautiful examples of their work and we requested an emphasis on pictures for our profiles (discreet/ no faces) and action shots. We made the free booking for the next day. That's right, it costs nothing with no commitment.

They asked we be ready with 3 outfits and 2-3 locations in mind. We chose to start in our room, then shoot in the disco/ play room followed by the beach at sunset. The photographer was a super cool and effeminate guy who was all business with some flair thrown in for good measure. He was a pro. Clear directions and encouragement were given along with suggestions. Instantly we trusted him. We had heard from other couples that is was, as you would expect at Desire, totally ok to get as intimate as you wanted. We turned it up a notch in our room and (an empty) disco/ playroom after getting more fashion/ boudoir type shots.

Antonio made us look like a million dollars. Covergirl shots, beach sunset glow and porn star stuff as well. Hot! We now have a range of shots from on the wall at home, family friendly to profile pics to xxx eyes only stuff.

The shoot lasted 2.5 hours and we were exhilarated and excited by the end. The next day when we saw the simply stunning results, it literally brought tears to our eyes.

You can choose to buy just a few pics or a CD/ book full of pics if you want with prices from low to very high. Do it. Veterans will know what we are talking about. No, you are not too old, out of shape, wrinkled, whatever! You're in paradise and you should capture paradise in a way that speaks 1000 words.
Anyone else have amazing experiences with the photo shoot?

It's well worth the time and money! The hottest few hours ever! Book is locked in the safe but we love it!
