We are curious what to wear for Dinner at Aphrodite. I know the usual answer is that it’s all over the board. But for those that have been there, picture in your mind any typical dinner there and what is the typical thing you see men and women wearing? Thoughts?

Taking in mind we go to Desire for it’s sexually charged environment, its permissiveness, and for doing things would be impossible at other resorts, when we choose clothing we try to select those which would be impossible to wear at any other place –well, actually my wife’s outfits, mine are boring--:
For Aphrodite, where we dine 80% of nights, My wife puts special attention in her hair, make-up and shoes. After this, clothes should have at least one of these characteristics: sheer, very short, very deep cleavage, minimal coverage… or a combination of some of them.
Underwear is never considered for Desire at any moment.
Lingerie wore as a dress is sometimes a good option.
Anabel isn’t a fan of “slut outfits”, even I sometimes buy some for her, and prefers adapt some of her everyday clothing to make it shocking: a nice blouse completely unbuttoned; a crochet vest wore with nothing under it, etc.
Both of us like to dress sexually elegant, and it worth!
BTW: I tend to wear linen pants with a nice shirt, and moccasins. Bored!

Great post above. Sexually elegant is a great way to put it. My mrs doesn't like 'slut wear' either but loves wearing sheer or something where a nip slips or the dress is way too short for normal life. But really you can do what you like, that is the beauty of the place. To each their own!

This is a very good question- When we visited Pearl we enjoyed Aphrodite every night. The wait staff was amazing and they even set us up with sushi from upstairs one night.

My wife is also not into total slut wear while dining-- But she made it a point to wear the shortest dress each night without any under garments and her Jimmy Choo's each night. After dinner we went back to the room and she then changed into lingerie or whatever the evening theme suggestion was (or not !!). She did not disappoint.

We can not wait to return---

Aphrodite is more casual but a few weeks ago we had some that had to of came directly from the jacuzzi, I'm thinking tee shirts and swim trunks are a bit extreme!

I'm just realizing I was confused about restaurants. Aphrodite is that near the beach. We tend to dinner at Pearl restaurant, so my comments are about that. Sorry

I tend to dress in the same type of clothing no matter what restaurant we dine at while at either Desire resort.

I, too, do not wear 'slut wear' but I do wear short, sheer, no panties, 'up to here, down to there' sexy dresses - with heels, of course.

I agree with you. Seems to be more more than norm at Pearl and less seen at Aphrodite?? Maybe it was just our trip. At Aphrodite I almost thought we were at another resorts all inclusive restaurant. The vibe is less sexy at least during our stay

Aphrodite, for us, is a day light restaurant, a nice place for breakfast and lunch. It's great have a place where you can have your meals in just a pareo and a t-shirt (me) or just a sheer or minimal coverage (my wife). We miss the time when they have the open terrace and you could be topless, with just with a cover-up tied to the waist.

I'm curious. What is this 'slut wear' that is being discussed here? I see references to short, sheer, no panties, cleavage, all which a good and fair game for Desire.

For me it's probably as simple as, "do I like it?"

I think it's a derogatory term for short, skimpy, sheer, barely there, up to here, down to there, sexy clothes that we enjoy wearing at Desire.

Items we wouldn't dare wear to Sunday Dinner with the family.

But there are lots of 'sexy' outfits that I have seen on others' at Desire that I wouldn't wear - they just aren't 'my style' and I wouldn't be caught dead in them. But they can, and do, look great on the right person.
