Do guys really dress up? We're having a lot of fun shopping for her, but I'm indifferent on dressing to the themes. I will be a sheep on this on and follow the lead of the masses. Our nights are: Uniform, Masquerade, Dress to Impress, and Neon.

It"s up to you completely. No one will judge you if you don't, you may get few compliments if you do. It had taken me 5 trips to get comfortable with the idea of trying to dress up for the theme nights and we had a blast on our last trip in early part of June.

Yes, 90% of guys did when we were there. Unfortunately, we missed uniform and masquerade :(( Those are my favorite ones.

I always dress up because the Mrs is amused by it. The previous poster is correct, the guys who dress up tend to get nice compliments from the ladies in attendance. It's all fun - I certainly can't pull off a sexy look like my wife so I aim for the court jester look.

As mentioned above, some do and some don't. If it's a 'colour theme' - it's pretty easy to dress in theme and perhaps a little more comfortable for those who really don't want or like to dress for the theme.

As a female, it doesn't really matter one way or another to me if anyone dresses in theme - it's a personal choice.

And, although we do enjoy checking out the costumes, it matters more to me that the men dress nicely for the evening than just wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

Some people, guys and gals, go all out with the costumes and some don't.

We will be at DP and both me and Mrs. Scuba will be in theme-wear at least 5 of those nights. It was not really easy for me to find things that work but it was fun. The only nights that I don’t have something planned are Neon and Desire Mansion. I look at it this way - for us, Themes are all part of the Desire experience.

Mr. K dressed up every night on our first trip, put a lot of effort into outfits and coordinating with mine and the theme. Most of the men were dressed by the color theme, but didn't specifically costume. The staff interacted with him and the other dressed up men a lot. It was fun. On our second trip, neither one of us dressed up as much. That one was a shorter trip, and we were more focused on hot tub in the evenings than disco theme nights.

Darin loved dressing up as well as shopping online for the themes each night we were there. He also loved the attention he received from the other women because he was dressed up. When we are back in October, I am sure he will participate in the themes again.

Used to, now not so much, luggage weight comes at a premium, and I/we don't want to pay extra for props and costumes etc, especially when half of my suitcase is loaded up with her shoes......

I usually dress up in only a pair of Sexy Trunk Underwear and an accessory for theme nights. They usually go with theme,Glow-Yellow w Yellow Glasses, University-Checker w Nerd Glasses, MAnsion-Black with Vest, masquerade - Funky w Mask. We are there to have fun. But again, we are naked people and it is a struggle to even wear that. :D/

Some do and some don't but either way, it is whatever you are comfortable with doing...no one judges either way.
